Vale Eco Centre was launched in October 2015 as one of Vale Malaysia Minerals Sdn Bhd’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives aimed to serve as an educational platform for the local community and the public at large to discover and appreciate biodiversity in the Teluk Rubiah forest. From its 1,196-acre property, Vale has set aside 715 acres of forest and biodiversity for the future generations as the Vale Eco Centre. VEC is managed by Malaysia’s leading ecotourism NGO,  Ecotourism & Conservation Society Malaysia (ECOMY).
