An Exploratory Journey Towards Discovery

The Royal Belum International Hornbill Expedition is an amazing opportunity to survey the hornbill population in a magnificent setting within the world’s oldest rainforest which is estimated to be over 130 million years old.

Tak Kenal Maka Tak Cinta” a popular and old malay saying, roughly translates to “One only loves what one knows/understands”. This awareness as well as an appreciation for the island’s natural assets is the key to inculcating a love for one’s environment and a sense of ownership over it.

Negeri Sembilan Bird Expedition Phase 2

This Expedition is ongoing in the beautiful forests of Bukit Putus, Seremban Gardens, Gunung Telapa Buruk, and Gunung Berembun to record and identify avifauna in the state. This year’s event is in collaboration with the NEST and Seremban Municipal Council. Look out for photos and information on our FB pages.

Negeri Sembilan Bird Expedition Phase 1

15 - 16 October 2016

ECOMY's Negeri Sembilan Bird Expedition held on 15-16 October 2016 at Taman Hidupan Liar, Jelebu, Negeri Sembilan is Malaysia's first Bird Expedition series which was an overnight camping survey for birds.
