Pangkor Mentees trip to Kuala Gula

ECOMY’s training for our Pangkor Mentees – The mentees were taken on a weekend field trip to Kuala Gula to network with local communities there, experience new activities on ecotourism and working on their own plans for Pangkor on October 24th to 25th, 2015.

They met up with the local community, i.e. Sahabat Hutan Bakau showcasing their crafts featuring the natural resources found at Kuala Gula and Mr. Tan Eng Choon, a local nature guide there.

The action plans were also discussed at length, and the mentees will be collaborating on a special tour package showcasing their collaborative efforts, and incorporating what they have learnt through this programme, in December 2015.
